🧭 You’ve Just Breached the Perimeter... Welcome In.

Looks like you’ve landed deep in the digital jungle — don’t worry, the firewall’s friendly.

I’m JP — a tech-loving, threat-hunting, cybersecurity dad with a passion for protecting people in a world that’s increasingly online and unpredictable. What started as a curiosity for how things work turned into a full-blown obsession with securing systems, uncovering vulnerabilities, and helping others navigate the digital wild.

Whether it’s building secure tools, breaking down complex tech, or hunting down threats, I’m extremely passionate about learning how to do it all — and sharing that knowledge to make the web a safer place for everyone.

This isn’t just a portfolio — it’s a launchpad for learning, building, and maybe a few bad puns along the way.

Let’s connect. I’d love to hear your story, swap ideas, or team up for the next mission.

I’ve always been a learner — in the military, I was constantly switching hats, adapting, and picking up new skills on the fly. That same mindset fuels my passion for cybersecurity. Whether it’s a Coursera course, a new tool, or a hands-on challenge, I’m all in. I recently wrapped up the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate and now I’m chasing cloud certifications to keep sharpening the edge.

This is where it all started — April 2022, my first real line of code. I left a 60+ hour/week construction project management job halfway through a 6-month Full Stack Developer course to go all in. I learned React, Python, JavaScript, and worked with databases like MongoDB and Redis. Turns out, coding is my passion — just not web development. I’m mediocre at it, but I love the problem-solving and learning it unlocks.

By day, I’m a Junior Technical Support Services Analyst at a medical technologies company — supporting SaMD applications, setting up systems, and solving problems while staying HIPAA-compliant.

By night, I’m a passionate cybersecurity researcher. I recently completed my first real threat hunt, uncovering and reporting a phishing site posing as a Florida toll collector — complete with stolen credit card data. I did the right thing and took it all the way to the FDLE.

Which led me to build this — a platform that crosses my passion for coding with my mission to help people. It’s called RCSS: Red Cell Security Solutions, inspired by the military Red Cell teams that test vulnerabilities to strengthen defenses — a mission I know firsthand, having served on one myself.
My goal is to investigate scams, help people secure their data, and shrink their digital footprint. It’s not just tech — it’s personal. And while this platform is still a work in progress, I’d be lying if I said I did it alone. I’ve proudly leveraged AI along the way — and through that process, discovered a growing passion for what AI can do to help people, empower defenders, and change the way we fight digital threats.
I may not know everything — but I know enough to start, and I have the drive to keep going until I find the answer. Honestly, I was hesitant to step into this world at first. But I realized I can’t let doubt hold me back. With the right training, relentless curiosity, and a heart for helping others, I know I can make a real difference. One day, I won’t just be part of cybersecurity — I’ll be a force within it.
Just to be clear this is what I do in my free time. If you want help click the link its the picture :)
